An Album a Day #2026-10

It's Always About Love - Ancient Infinity Orchestra

An Album a Day #2026-10

Notes

What happens when you ask a question?

On a physical level, a question is air moving across your vocal cords, resonating throughout your body as you change the shape of your mouth, tongue, and lips. It leaves your body as a pattern of compressed and rarified air that emanates in all directions, vibrating the world around you.

On a different level, a question, even an unspoken one, is an admission of incompleteness and imperfection, to yourself and to the world. It's a desire to be made a bit more whole, a bit more perfect.

It's Always About Love asks questions, not with words but with saxophones, trumpets, clarinets, pianos, drums, and all the sounds of a jazz orchestra. Why do flowers bloom? Why does sun shine on a meadow? What do people want? Why do we make friends? Why do mountains form? In the joy of asking, an answer is found.

It's easily my favorite record I've listened to so far this year.

What is "An Album a Day"?

Each day in 2026, I'm listening to an album that:

  1. I've never heard before
  2. Was released in the last six months (from the time of listening)
